The app allows to play only one variant of checkers, known as American Checkers, English Checkers, English Draughts or Straight Checkers (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_draughts). Please check our other apps if you are interested in other variants of checkers. Play modes: -computer opponents; -friends, using the same iPhone/iPad; -online, using the Game Center. Following features are included: -eBook with complete rules of the game and interactive illustrations. -Animations show possible moves. This is useful for learning the game: only allowed moves are shown. The game will not allow to make illegal moves such as huffs. -Single player, two-player or online modes. -Configurable difficulty level. -Undo last move button. -Auto save for the unfinished game and current settings -Puzzles (game positions that player can solve). -4 Computer opponents and historical facts about them.
